In April 2026, the Higher Education and Science IT Shared Services Center (VPC), in cooperation with the Latvian Academic Library Association (LATABA), organised a webinar “Research Data Ecosystem in Latvia and the Role of Libraries”. The event brought together more than 120 participants from academic and public libraries, as well as other institutions. Data stewards from VPC, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) and Riga Technical University (RTU) presented topics and answered participants’ questions related to Open Science, data management and research support services.
