The Data Stewards Project has come to an end, but the Latvian Data Stewards Network established during the project, along with the support provided to researchers, will continue.

From 6 to 8 May 2026, the international conference “AI Summit Europe” took place in Riga, Latvia. The event was dedicated to leaders ready to take action. It brought together more than 500 participants from over 35 countries.

On 21 May 2026, the conference “Forward Together” took place at the “Fantadroms” conference centre in Riga, bringing together nearly 200 professionals from higher education, science and the IT sector, as well as researchers and representatives of institutions.
