From March 3 to 6, the 6th European Citizen Science Association conference (ECSA 2026) took place in Oulu, Finland, bringing together more than 500 participants to examine the diversity of Citizen Science in different contexts and its potential to reduce inequality

From 5 to 6 February 2026, Paris, France, hosted the international training EP PerMed Training in Data Management in Personalised Medicine, organised by the European Partnership for Personalised Medicine (EP PerMed)

On 4–5 February 2026, the international conference-exhibition AI & Big Data Expo Global 2026, organised by TechEx, took place in London, UK, bringing together more than 8,000 participants.

On 12 February this year, a doctoral networking event was held at Rīga Stradiņš University under the theme “The Role of the Data Stewards in Doctoral Studies.”
