The event brought together researchers and students from the social sciences and humanities to discuss responsible research data management. <\/p>\n<p>During the seminar, VPC data steward Daina Kos\u012bte introduced participants to the specifics of qualitative data management. Various data types and formats were explained, and practical advice was provided on how to balance research participant confidentiality with the principles of open science. Special attention was given to data security, access control, and ethical considerations, illustrated through examples from interview data management. <\/p>\n<p>The event also addressed challenges related to qualitative data management.
