The young scientists were also introduced to the DataverseLV research data repository – a secure and sustainable solution for data publication and reuse, that promotes the implementation of open science principles in Latvia.

During the discussions, participants actively asked questions about practical steps in data management planning, the balance between openness and security, as well as the challenges associated with data management in international projects. Researchers emphasised the need for clear guidelines and accessible tools to help them in their daily work.

The responsiveness and active involvement of young researchers inspired further cooperation between data stewards and the young scientific community, thus contributing to the development of high-quality and sustainable research in Latvia.

Last weekend, on August 16, participants of the Latvian Association of Young Researchers (LJZA) summer school met with data stewards Elīna Peina, Daina Kosīte, Mikus Melderis and Kristaps Oškalns

[1

post-3527","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
