The aim of the event was to introduce research data professionals and researchers from the Baltic States to the activities of RDA,\u00a0opportunities\u00a0and ways to get involved in the organisation's activities.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The Research Data Alliance is an international organisation that promotes the implementation of open data sharing and use practices by developing social and technical solutions for data management. The\u00a0webinar\u00a0provided an overview of the RDA structure, its working groups and interest groups that work on various aspects related to research data, from the professionalisation of data management to the development of policies in the field of research data.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The\u00a0webinar\u00a0featured data professionals from the Baltic States, including Latvia, represented by Ingm\u0101rs\u00a0Krei\u0161manis\u00a0from\u00a0R\u012bga\u00a0Stradi\u0146\u0161\u00a0University, who shared his experience and insights on the role of RDA in research data management.
