As\u00a0part of the project, a network of trained data stewards has been\u00a0established\u00a0to support the research infrastructure.\u00a0These experts help develop data management practices\u00a0and\u00a0procedures\u00a0in research and higher education\u00a0institutions, while also providing professional support to researchers in handling research data.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The network fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange among\u00a0stewards and ensures the provision of high-quality data management services.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Data\u00a0steward\u00a0teams have been\u00a0established\u00a0in four Latvian research universities \u2013 the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, the University of Latvia,\u00a0R\u012bga\u00a0Stradi\u0146\u0161\u00a0University, and Riga Technical University \u2013 as well as in the\u00a0Higher Education and Science Information Technology Shared Service Centre\u00a0(VPC).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The repository is based on the Dataverse platform developed by Harvard University \u2013 a recognized and widely used solution for the long-term preservation of research data within the international scientific community. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The infrastructure partner of\u00a0<\/span>DataverseLV<\/span><\/i>, the Latvia State Radio and Television Centre, ensures the long-term maintenance and security of the data\u00a0infrastructure.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
